About WinksLab
Two people, one Chennai workshop, and a belief that a child learns best when their hands are busy and the screen is off.
Hello, we are Jay & Nithya
WinksLab is our little corner of Chennai where learning comes to life. Before WinksLab, we built Kiddiwinks, one of India’s most loved pre-loved children’s book communities, started in August 2016. Years of watching children discover the joy of reading taught us something important: the best learning happens when children are genuinely engaged, not just instructed.
That belief led us to WinksLab. WinksLab is a brand of Kiddiwinks.
Born from a real need
Every product in our collection started with a parent who could not find the right tool, or a teacher who needed something better for the classroom. We listened, we designed, we tested, and we made it. Every WinksLab resource comes from a genuine requirement of the people closest to children, not from a trend.

How we make things
A year of testing
We spent a year testing and refining before we launched in June 2022, because we did not want to put anything in your child’s hands unless we were completely confident in it.
Made in Chennai
Every product is designed and made in our own Chennai workshop, laser-cut for precision and finished by hand with care.
We see every piece
We look at every piece before it goes into a box. That is not a marketing line, it is simply how we work.
Small on purpose
We are not a big company. We are two people who care about what goes into a child’s hands. When your little one sits down with a WinksLab resource, they are holding something a parent or teacher asked for, that we designed with care and made with our own hands. We hope it shows.
