we’re Jay and Nithya and WinksLab is our little corner of Chennai where learning comes to life.

Before WinksLab, we built Kiddiwinks one of India’s most loved children’s pre-loved book communities, started in August 2016. Years of watching children discover the joy of reading taught us something important: the best learning happens when children are genuinely engaged, not just instructed.

That belief led us to WinksLab. But we didn’t build it alone.

Every single product in our collection was born from a real need shared by a parent who couldn’t find the right tool, or a teacher who needed something better for their classroom. We listened, we designed, we tested, and we made it. That’s how every WinksLab resource comes to life not from a trend, but from a genuine requirement from the people closest to children.

We spent a year testing and refining before we launched in June 2022 because we didn’t want to put something into your child’s hands unless we were completely confident in it.

Every product is designed and made in our own Chennai workshop laser-cut for precision, finished by hand with care. We see every piece before it goes into a box. That’s not a marketing line it’s just how we work.

We’re not a big company. We’re two people who genuinely believe that the best learning happens when a child’s hands are busy and their screen is off. That belief goes into everything we make.

When your child sits down with a WinksLab resource, they’re holding something a parent or teacher asked for, that we designed with care, and made with our own hands. We hope it shows.
